Way of life:
This snail eats dead plants, which it chips off with its tongue. She doesn't like vegetables and lettuce!
Habitat:
In Vienna especially in the sunny brownfields of the Vienna Forest, in overgrown gardens (Viennese: Gstätten), on embankments, and in natural gardens.
Did you know?
Habitat loss has been especially hard on this not very mobile species. You can support them by not mowing the edges of bushes in your garden too often, or by creating wild and overgrown corners.
